Trevor commenced his career in the Hull department of The Salvage Association in 1965, arranging and co-ordinating ship surveys, examining and appraising reports on behalf of Underwriters and liaising with Insurance Brokers.

He joined the Average Adjusting profession in 1967 with Ernest Robert Lindley & Sons as a trainee Adjuster, becoming a Director of E.R. Lindley & Co. Ltd., in 1997 and in 1998 a Director of Richards Hogg Lindley, following the merger of these two companies.

As a consequence of subsequent reorganization and rationalization of the "amalgamated" firms, Trevor joined Mediterranean Average Adjusting Company in January 2000, he is now a consultant to the firm.

Trevor has knowledge of all General and Particular Average complications, extensive experience in all aspects of Adjusting ranging from collision and third party recoveries, claims under shipbuilders' and ship repairers' liability policies, Constructive Total Losses and Unrepaired Damages, as well as Loss of Earnings claims.

His responsibilities have covered dealing with clients, ship-owners and underwriters in various locations including U.K., Greece, Turkey, Scandinavia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and the Netherlands, involving regular visits to certain of these countries.
