Medav, as the company is often referred to, was founded some 40 years ago, however its origins go back much earlier due to the merger with the firms of Robin C. Aggersbury & Co. and Richard Arnold & Son.
The company serves Ship Owners, Insurers and other discerning clients in the marine insurance business in Europe, Russia and the Baltic States, North and South America, the Caribbean, Middle and the Far East, adjusting General Average, Particular Average, Total Loss, Salvage, Sue & Labour and Loss of Earnings claims, apportionment of Collision liabilities and assessing the related recoveries, etc.
With access to consultant Average Adjusters, Marine Engineers, Master Mariners and Legal Advisers, Medav also specialises in establishing cause of damage, handling cargo transportation claims and providing assistance on marine claims generally, including advising upon and the interpretation of insurance cover.
Robin Aggersbury, Tim Madge, Terry Mathews and Trevor Stone, each have in excess of 50 years, experience as Average Adjusters.
