Our representative in Greece is John Koilaious.
John started his career in the adjusting profession back in 1969 as the Piraeus representative of the London firm of Average Adjusters, Francis & Arnold. Prior to that, John acted as Claims Manager for certain Shipowners, both in London and Piraeus.
The agency with Francis & Arnold developed into a full scale adjusting practice during the ensuing eighteen years, employing some six adjusters or so, primarily English, plus one partner on permanent station.
Towards the end of 1987, John and his brother and two English Adjusters from the same agency, decided to go it alone and Pegasus Adjusting Services Ltd. was founded. The newly established firm of Adjusters in Piraeus formally commenced business in January 1988.
In 1995, Pegasus Adjusting Services Ltd became the Piraeus representative office for Mediterranean Average Adjusting Company and, with their long established shipping connections in Greece, John continues to provide invaluable adjusting and liaison services for Mediterranean.
